Unique Features
Foxes are secretive by nature and mainly nocturnal. They dig their own burrows and hunt mice, hare, rabbits, lizards and insects. They also eat eggs and wild fruit. Cape Fox The Cape Fox is also known as the Silver Fox and the Silver Jackal. It's coat is silvery grey, the upper front legs reddish brown. Predators They are preyed upon by leopards and hyenas. When in flight from a predator, they keep their bodies low so that their stomachs almost brush the ground. Family Ties Cape Foxes are solitary. |
